Flying Lizards Porsche 911 GT3 RSRs at Long Beach. Patrick Long and Joerg Bergmeister in #45 and Seth Neiman and Marco Holzer in #44. Patrick Long was making a hard charge up the ranks when he suffered a puncture due to debris from an early crash involving other cars. The untimely pit stop to change the tire set Long back and the #45 ended up finishing seventh while the #44 finished ninth. Not a good finish on a track that is usually a great place for the Flying Lizards. Following a tough race at Sebring, where the #45 was hit by a Ferrari before even taking the green flag, the disappointing results at Long Beach put the Flying Lizards in a hole early in the 2012 ALMS campaign.
